SHAMROCK CENTURIONS

The Woonona Shamrocks are one of the Illawarra’s premier sporting clubs. Since 1970, Shamrocks young and old have taken to the field to represent the club with distinction.

You are a Shamrock for life. In 2020, club stalwart Jordan Whitehead played his 442nd game for the club, including over 100 junior games. His record pipped that of Ray Wylie who finished his career with an incredible 434 games. We value our players, and everyone who pulls on the Shamrocks jumper becomes one of us, whether it is for 1 game or 100. However, our true club legends are our volunteers and in particular our Life Members. Life members have shown dedication to, and passion for, the club over at least 10 years and go through a stringent process to be elected, including support by at least 90% of the club membership.
