SHAMROCKS RUGBY CLUB IS ONE OF THE HIGHEST PROFILE SPORTING ENTITIES IN ILLAWARRA'S NORTHERN SUBURBS.
Playing rugby as a club since 1970, the club comprises a membership and supporter base of well over 300 people.
The club fields teams in the Illawarra District Rugby Union Competition in NSW Australia. There are several junior sides from U/8’s through to U/18’s as well as our three senior grade sides.
In 2009 the club performed extremely well, finishing second in the Illawarra Rugby Club Championship as well as being finalists in 1st grade and Premiers in 3rd Grade.
The junior sides also had an exceptional year with four sides achieving their respective grand finals and two claiming their premierships in the U14’s and U18’s.
